Amazing - but consistent holes are a problem
I own this cardigan in every color and most colors of the crew neck version as well. The fabric is so soft and high-quality that I’ve replaced all my other cardigans, which feel too scratchy by comparison. I love these sweaters enough to overlook the issue with holes. When a small hole appears, I exchange the item. It hasn’t been in all of the sweaters, but I would estimate about half. I wash each sweater separately in a delicate mesh bag on a cold cycle and lay it flat to dry, which has helped. However, some cardigans (recently, a navy in August) have arrived with a hole -- and more often the holes develop after they’ve been worn for a while. I hope LL Bean will look at the quality control of their merino wool as I’d much rather keep the item than exchange. I have been purchasing these for over a year.

Good wool but meh design
I really like that it's all wool. It fits well as well, but the width of the area at the collar is just not doing it for me. Feels a little frumpy

Lovely sweater!
I’m very pleased with the sweater. It’s very soft and the fit was perfect. I was especially pleased that the sleeve length was generous with the small (not too short!) I am looking forward to wearing it when the weather cools.
