11/10 Trail Boots!
I searched high and low for trail boots that were waterproof, warm, and comfortable out of the box. These boots checked those boxes and more! I purchased these for a recent wintery hiking trip with my family and was beyond pleased with them. I cannot believe how comfortable they are and how much I enjoy wearing them. 11/10.

Isues with boots
I purchased a 6 wide. The right boot dug into my foot. LLBean was great and sent out a second pair before I even returned them. The right boot fits fine and doesn't dig into my foot, but the left boot slips off the back of my foot. Disappointed because I really wanted to love these boots. My feet do not hurt when wearing them, but really hurt after I take them off. I've worn the boots 6 or 7 times trying all different weight socks and tying them all different ways , but they just aren't working for me. I already threw away the box, so I will keep them. They are a really nice boot and definitely great quality. Wish they worked out. I'll end up donating them.

Great boots!
These are the most comfortable and sturdy boots I have found in years, maybe decades. I bought two pair. I wear them daily, working construction and hiking my steep, rocky property. I am VERY happy with these boots.

Trail Model X Mid Waterproof Leather Hiker 2 Women
I love my new LLBean hiking boots. My normal shoe size is 8, but I chose size 8 1/2, and with medium-thick socks, they are a perfect fit. They have great traction, are light, and high enough to cover my ankles. They feel very comfortable and look well-made. I have not yet been able to test them in the rain, but I am very happy with my purchase!

Always top quality
I always have problems finding a wide boot that I actually like, these are great. The color is really nice and the wide size is great . They are a very rigid boot so if you’re looking for something more flexible this would not be a good choice but if you’re looking for support, this boot is a good choice. I purchased a 6W and they are true to size and the quality of the boot is what you would expect of an llbean boot. I am located in southern New England and expecting to be putting them through a nice long winter season. I think I’ll be ready with these boots.
