Hiking? You need these
I bought these at the suggestion of Wirecutter. They did not steer me wrong. They are lightweight, put up with all kinds of issues (like falling) and fit like a charm. They were the only type I could find that had different inseam lengths!

Love the pants, but the zipper?
I bought two pair of these pants for the look, feel, and ease of traveling as they are lightweight. They fit nicely and are comfortable in both hot and cold weather, somewhat repel water and dry quickly. The problem is with the zipper. On both pair, the zipper always falls down every 5 to 10 minutes. Constantly, I am checking the zipper and pulling it up. For $90 dollars this should not an issue. From a design standpoint, I believe the zipper pull should also be smaller as it tends to stick out. And if you are wondering, I am in shape so it is not that the pants are too small. I love these pants but will be returning them as I am tired of hearing "Your zipper is down."

Versatile pants

Perfect travel pants
I wanted a pair of pants for travel light enough to be comfortable in warm climates but substantial enough to wear on an over air-conditioned airplane. And they had to have secure pockets for phone and wallet. These are perfect!
