Excellent Boot for Long Snowy Commutes
I could not be happier with my purchase. These boots are easy to slip on and incredibly comfortable with a nice cushion to the sole. I wear them daily walking ~1.5 miles round trip on the often snowy/slushy/rainy streets of Chicago. There is enough water proofing on the bottom half to keep my feet dry and warm, yet they are also breathable and do not suffocate my feet. Excellent grip on icy surfaces as well. It is very easy to walk long distances in these boots across a variety of terrains. I also have gotten multiple compliments about their appearance. I hope LL Bean makes these boots for many years to come.

Wicked comfy Bean boots.
These have to be one of the most comfortable pair of shoes/boots I’ve ever had. Try them on— they feel like a comfy mattress for your feet. True to size. Great vibram sole. Waterproof but not insulated. A great shoe to own for everyday wear!

Nope
Comfortable once you get them on. However I bought them thinking they would be easy to slip on. They are very difficult to slip your foot into. The opening for your foot is too small to easily get your foot into and I struggle to get them on. Not at all what I thought I was getting! I’ll most likely donate to someone. I was disappointed to say the least.

Nice boot...recommend with a caveat
Bought the boots a month ago at a local store. Good quality boot with great traction and stability on snow. Fit is true to size with a mid weight sock. Only problem I have is these boots are not easy to get on. You'll need a place to sit and two ungloved hands to wrestle it on. I bought it to keep by the door for when i take my dog out, but she sometimes spends less time outside than it takes to put the boots on. Maybe I should have went with the snow sneakers.
