Best boots I ever owed.
These are the best water proof hiking boots I ever had. The ankle support is perfect and they are so light weight. I’m so glad I got these for our trip to Yellowstone.

Comfortable boots
Have only worn these hiking once; but, they were very comfortable on first wear! I typically wear athletic shoes when hiking because I prefer their light weight comfort; however, these are comfortable enough (with nice ankle support) that I will probably wear them instead when trail conditions are muddy or snowy.

Quite pleased with this purchase
Very comfortable right out of the box. I have a stiff ankle so another row of speed laces would be helpful but not a deal breaker. I ordered a half size bigger because I have freakishly long 2nd toes which are well accommodated without causing me to trip.

Great boots!
I usually have trouble finding comfortable footwear due to having flat feet and needing wide sizing. It's always a process. :-/ Well, I needed boots ASAP and I found these in wide in stock at my local LLBean for pickup. I brought them home and tried them on -- felt like the sizing was right. What I didn't get to do was wear them or walk in them for a bit (in the house) to ensure comfort. I didn't even try them with my inserts! Well, without even breaking these in I wore them on an icy and snow trail for 2 miles. They provided the perfect support, balance, cushioning and stability! I was pleasantly surprised because they would have been an expensive risk! Anyway, that evening and the next day my feet didn't hurt and I didn't have any weird soreness/aches from poor body mechanics. I highly recommend these boots, especially if you wide feet and flat feet!
