Last time I’ll be shopping at LLBean
Many years ago I started buying these pants from LL Bean. They were wonderful. The fabric was durable and always comfortable. Unfortunately not anymore. They are made in Cambodia with an inferior very light weight fabric. They are not of the quality I expected to be delivered.

Changed fit & style - legs are wider - Styling & fit has changed since last time I ordered. Like the old styling better. Usually ordered Medium but had to get Petite for shorter length.

Straight leg perfect pants
I like everything about the pants, but the style seemed to run a little too short for me, but the regular length would be too long. So I returned them and got the wide leg style because they looked longer in the picture.

Great fitting pants
I purchased a pair in the gray color and liked it so much I went ahead and also got a pair in black. The fabric is smooth and substantial and the straight-legs are lean looking without being tight. They are comfortable and can also be worn with a nice top for going out. If it helps anyone, I am 5'3" and weigh 125 pounds; a small petite fits well.

happy to have a mostly cotton option in tall sizes
I love that these pants have a high cotton content with just enough lycra to hold the shape. This fabric is cooler and more breathable than the myriad polyester competitors and it is getting quite hard to find pants that aren't polyester, especially in tall sizes. I like to use these for travel. They are comfortable enough to sleep in if needed. To further expand their versatility when suitcase space is at a premium, I occasionally cuff them to a capri or even pedal pusher length on warmer days. The disadvantage for travel is that the pockets aren't very deep. Especially when I'm sitting down items in the pockets have a tendency to slip out. I do wish these had more practical pockets. I'm also conflicted about the internal tummy control/pocket panel. It has a purpose, but it can get bunched up internally. On my pair, size medium, length medium tall, the front rise is ~12.5'' and the rear rise is between 16'' and 17''. On my body (5'10'', 32'' inseam) I would describe the fit as just below the waist. For a true at the waist fit on my body I would need a higher rear rise, closer to 18''. I've had them for almost two years. While there has been minimal shrinkage (machine washed, line dried) the black color is fading somewhat.
