Light and Warm but Needs More Pockets
I like this coat very much except for one thing -- pockets -- my previous LLBean coat was a parka and probably more of an "outdoor" model and it had pockets on the inside AND a fabulous chest pocket. Where am I supposed to put my phone? I miss that pocket terribly!! The hand pockets seem flimsy, too.
Other than that, it is so light which is nice and very warm and the furry hood is feminine (though I haven't figured out how to keep if from falling into my eyes and blinding me yet).

Finally, a coat that fits!
This coat fits my shoulders without being restrictive, and because it's a petite, the sleeves are the perfect length and the pockets are at the right height. And it's really warm!

Perfect coat for pear shaped woman
My first extremely cold weather in many years and I needed a super warm coat. This one is Perfect. Fits perfectly and it’s easy to get in and out of the car. I’d forgotten how warm down can be.

Nice but not as warm as I thought it would be
I have a couple down coats that are probably eight years old, but the down feathers are coming out of the fabric. I thought this coat would be as warm as my other two coats but it is not. I woke up to 0° this morning and was hoping the coat would be plenty warm, but even with the heavy sweater under it, it’s still is not as warm as I thought it would be. It looks good, fits good, just not what I was expecting. I ordered a petite medium and the fit is perfect.

Not sure about this coat
Just bought this about a month ago. The fur is sewn on shoddy,I took it off. The fit is good. I find it very odd that there is no LL Bean logo anywhere on the coat. Everything in the store has their logo, so why not this? Makes me feel like it’s a fake. I was going to take it back, who knows I still might. I just feel that it’s not up to LL Bean quality.

LL Bean ultra warm 3/4 coat
Love this coat! The fit is exactly what I had hoped for. It has kept me warm even in this winter's record breaking temps. I appreciate how light weight it is making it easy on my shoulders when I'm putting it on, wearing it, or carrying it. Well done, L.L. Bean!
