Please replace inside tag with cloth material
The cotton turtlenecks I received recently were, as always, soft and sturdy as usual. The only problem is the plastic tag sewn on the inside seam which is very itchy even after cutting it down to the seam.

No longer fully reinforced seams
The fabric itself is great, but they did away with reinforced stitching at shoulder and arm seams. Also, sleeves are no longer cuffed, something I’ve appreciated in earlier versions of this turtleneck.

Terrible neck
The turtleneck is baggy and droopy. The top was very expensive and is borderline unwearable. It's no surprise that the fashion model has her hand on her neck to hide the defective turtleneck.

Shrinks
Shrinks when washed. Becomes almost cropped. This is a long-standing problem with all LL Bean cotton tees. The fabric is a good thickness - much better than any other company’s tees, but they need to preshrink all fabric before constructing the shirts.

Lapis teal is gorgeous color
This fits me perfectly, even in the sleeves, which is a rarity. (They are short enough). The neck isn't too tight and the shoulders are the right width.
