Our founder, L.L., first introduced genuine handsewn mocs 100 years ago in 1926, and we've made them better than ever before. We added a more flexible insole and upgraded the foam underfoot for immediate comfort right out of the box. A new leather sock liner molds to your foot over time for custom comfort and a barefoot feel. And new, high-quality leathers that start out comfy and get better the more you wear them.

New store in Franklin, TN!
Thank you for opening a new store in Franklin, TN. I went to the grand opening over the weekend and it was amazing. While there I bought the Blucher Mocs in Oakwood. The changes/enhancements to the shoes are great. I have owned many pairs over the years but these are the most comfortable. Put them on and immediately was getting compliments. Big L.L. Bean fan!

This is the second pair that I have purchased since February. The insoles in the first have disintegrated and the inside stitching on one shoe on the other is very sharp, causing a cut and blister.
