Our founder, L.L., first introduced genuine handsewn mocs 100 years ago in 1926, and we've made them better than ever before. We added a more flexible insole and upgraded the foam underfoot for immediate comfort right out of the box. A new leather sock liner molds to your foot over time for custom comfort and a barefoot feel. And new, high-quality leathers that start out comfy and get better the more you wear them.

Great fit.
As usual, my new camp Mocs fit well and look great. I’m still wearing both of my previous pairs because they are so comfortable and will save my new pair for special occasions. I can always count on L L Bean for quality products.

Great fit but questionable materials
These mocs fit perfectly and felt terrific. However, the soles are made from some softer material that actually stuck onto my very clean prefinished Bruce hardwood floors as if I had gum on the bottom of the shoes. I tried wiping them but there was no difference. If you are wearing them outside it shouldn't matter. But I wear them as indoor only shoes, so it did not work for me. I was very disappointed.

Camp Mocs with Sturdy Soles!
Ensoled camp mocs are vital in the blistering heat of the California desert. Once cannot simply dash outdoors bare-foot. These house mocs then serve an essential purpose as secure summer slippers with firm soles for outdoors use when necessary. I’ve had several pairs over my many decades, though I do notice that in this iteration the leather is of lesser quality.

Small but aggravating problem
I like these shoes very much with one exception: How do I keep the shoes tied?? I seem to recall that several years ago you had instructions printed in a sales catalogue with a solution for this "problem". I also have a pair of your leather-lined moccasins -- my second pair purchased from you -- with the same problem. Any suggested fix will be appreciated.
