Cotton twill
I'm happy Bean has returned to offering 100% cotton button down twill type shirt. It was a mainstay for many years. Nice color and fabric. Fit is a bit weird. Tight in the shoulders. I get that it is slightly fitted, but it's not my gut that's squeezed - it's just under the arms.

Could have been great
The shirt has some good qualities, specifically the style and color. Also the material seems to be untreated 100% cotton. The overall fit was good. The reason I returned it was that the neck was disproportionately large. Even though it was labeled as medium (usually about a 16 inch neck), the neck measured 18 inches. I don’t know of anyone who has a medium sized torso and extra large neck.

"Regular" fit shirt doesn't fit a regular body
I ordered and received a Men's "Medium Regular" fit long-sleeve linen-cotton blend shirt.
I have a 38" chest and 32" waist. This shirt fit fine on my shoulders, but it was basically 38" around all the way down, and it hung on me like a giant bag. It's too bad, because the shirt looked nice and was well-made. I returned it.
LL Bean should make a "Regular" size conform to a "regular" person, not an overweight person with a large belly. Otherwise, LL Bean should make "Slim" sizes available in all shirts like this. I don't consider myself particularly slim, but if that's what it takes to make a shirt fit me, I'll take it.

Nice shirt
I got the large. A quality oxford. Cloth is the right weight and feel. Comfortable. Fit is good. Happy with the purchase. I bought the "bone" color. Nice, neutral stripes that'll go with practically anything. Can be used year-round.
