Large, sturdy, and nice-looking.
We purchased this for our 13-year-old, who needed a large, sturdy backpack. He’s been using it for several months, and it’s holding up well. It looks great, too; his older sisters and friends have admired it and asked where he got it!

Returning and hoping it was just one bad bag
I bought this bag as a gift for my wife. We love the color, size, and comfort but the stitching attaching the straps to the bag is already showing/pulling, so we’ll be returning it. Usually the quality of other L.L. bags I’ve purchased have been great and I’ve used them for years.

Great, until...
Bag looks great and has all the storage pockets one can need. However, the clips are poorly constructed and cheap. They snapped after less than 3 months of use. My last backpack (Jansport) lasted 15+ years. This one barely made it past 1/4th of that.

Great capacity, quality issues with mesh pockets
We’ve used this for less than 5 months and the pockets mesh is already holey. There are some threads coming loose too. This was used by an 8th grader, so the pockets are used just for water bottles. His first grade backpack, also an LLbean is in much better shape. LLBean was quick to offer a replacement but I fear we’ll have the same issue again. LLBean, please fix this quality issue.

Perfect Pack for a 12 year old
Godson is now in track and he needed a bigger pack. This is perfect. Plenty of pockets and room for running shoes and extra water besides his school work and computer. Excellent bag!!

Great every day bag
Great every day back pack. I purchased this bag for my commute into the city for work and it’s the perfect size, keeps everything organized and within reach. I love the compartment on the top and the ability to open from the outside and inside. I also love the navy color.
