- Raised border helps contain water; can hold up to 1½ gallons of water per square yard.
- Crush-resistant design, with thick and thin fibers for scraping dirt and containing water.
- Rubber backing.

Works great and looks great!
We bought this for my outdoorsy daughter, who recently 'rescued' an all black puppy and needed a more substantial entry rug to handle the wet Seattle weather. It's perfect. We had purchased a number of these water hog rugs for my mother's house, and know they are substantial and easy to clean (a good vacuuming does the job).

❤️ Best mat! I love it.
It’s the greatest mat! It is the cutest print and it is really sturdy. My dogs got it dirty and I had to clean it with the hose out on the front porch. It hosed right off and didn’t even need any dawn dish soap. It dried so quickly it even didn’t feel wet afterwards. The only drawback is the different colors show the different colors of leaves and little pieces of dirt from the yard. That’s because it’s not neutral. So I have to sweep it often to keep it neat looking.

Very practical and cute
I've had waterhog mats before and they are good for catching and keeping snow and water in its place. They are easy to clean with a quick pass of the vacuum and once or twice a year I throw them on the grass and hose them down to clean. Colors and design come back like new. This particular design caught my attention, because a dog of my acquaintance in New Zealand looks the same.
