This is nice but perhaps more lightweight. It has a two-way zipper that is hard to use. The style stretches in the middle.

Change in sizing and cut. Disappointed
I purchased this exact vest last year in the same size and it fit perfectly. This one was cut differently and MUCH smaller. This has been an ongoing issue I have experienced with LL Bean recently which is why I no longer ordered from them as frequently.

construction outsourced to other countries
As a long time supporter of ll Bean, i keep reading and have had disappointment in the good design well construction no longer, but then i read most products outsourced/made in Asia, very sad, we need to invest in products made here. i want to add to recent experience here with this. Sad

Great to have a vest with a hood
I finally found a vest with a hood. I wear it under a jacket that doesn’t have a hood and it provides another layer of warmth. It is feather light so it fits comfortably underneath. I wish it was shorter so it didn’t peek out of my jacket at the bottom.

Very lightweight
I was disappointed in the weight of of the vest. It’s extremely lightweight. Probably good for early fall late summer but not for New England winters. Also it’s very stretchy. I’m keeping it but it’s not my favorite. So I bought another jacket to keep me warm
