Our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, recently redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- 600-denier polyester on body, with 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Spot clean.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.

Sturdy, but basic
I bought this bag primarily because it weighed 5 pounds less than my old rolling duffel, and intended to use it for a two week overseas trip for which I would be bumping right against the airline weight limits. I have always been a fan of LL Bean quality, and this bag is no exception--seems very sturdy and well-made. My problem though is that it's just very basic--there are no interior compartments or dividers of any kind, and only one outside zip compartment that's thin and not lockable. Accordingly, unless the bag is absolutely stuffed to the gills, when it's tipped up to roll everything inside is going to end up in a wad on the bottom, and there would also be no way to separate the contents so that something on the bottom could be found without pulling everything else out. I ended up taking the old bag which had numerous dividers and compartments. Light, yes. Well made, yes. Practical for long trips with air travel, not so much. It's going back.

Love the colors you can choose from
This is a great bag. I have bought others, but this new design makes packing easier. This one was extra large, which I believe is the same size as the older model that was large. It's great for any trip you may want

The new design is great
I bought this bag a month ago to replace the older version that I have had for 20 years. I haven’t used the new one yet. It looks great on inspection. I like that it stands up on end and opens all the way for access.
