Thicker material would be better.
I bought this for my husband (other member of Hunting Buddies. He likes it. I was hoping for a thicker flannel.

Thin material, not warm
I bought this for my husband because his terry robe is old and fraying. This robe looks nice but it is very light weight. I wanted something he could wear in winter and since it is flannel I thought it would be cozy and warm. But it’s so thin you can see right through it. He tried wearing it this fall and he was freezing. So, this is his new summer robe, and I’m still on the hunt for a heavier replacement for winter.

Disappointing lack of quality and overpriced
I bought this a month ago without doing much shopping for alternative options. Usually if I see it’s LL Bean I assume it’s high quality. For a $90 robe this is extremely poor value. I expected something thick and sturdy feeling that would last years, but most of my flannel shirts are thicker than this. It has the same weight as a t shirt. Photo comparison to a dime for scale. And there are also only two belt loops for whatever reason, so the tie always falls out. This feels like something I’d buy elsewhere for $30, not something a premium brand would sell for $90. I encourage shoppers to read the reviews here as many people say the same thing.
