My son is an avid hiker -- out every weekend in locales from deserts to mountains to seashore and cityscapes. He reports this jacket and another LL Bean jacket that I bought him for Christmas are perfect fits -- fit well, work well in different places and comfortable.

Great value. Warm, comfortable, wears well, hand warmer pocket is perfect, chest pocket is convenient, chest zip opens wide enough to cool you off when needed, wrist cuffs are comfortable. Only improvement would be the material the chest pocket is made of is more stainable than wanted for something so multi occasion useful. I have worn this hiking, shopping, to the hockey rink, drinks after, and holiday gatherings. Bonus feature, my wife likes it. Also, if it’s 20’s or under, and windy, you better have a layer under or over.

The cuff broke already?!
I got this fleece on sale, and it’s a good thing I did. The cuff and the fleece has already come apart. Not a big deal, but I would have expected it to last longer.

Perfect fleece, versatile, nice-looking, quality
Terrific fleece for late summer through into early winter (in Michigan). Wear over a tshirt and you’re perfectly comfy down into the 50°s. Put a warmer layer under it with a hat and you can skip the jacket down to about 45°.
