Nice pants
I like the pants. It’s hard to find pants that aren’t tapered leg. The only negative is the front pockets are not deep enough.

Size warning: make sure you try them on.
Warning: different colors of this exact same style and size fit differently. I bought a khaki pair and a dark green pair at the same time, but I only tried on the khakis. The khakis fit perfectly but the dark green pair is much tighter even though the tag claims it's the same inseam and waist size. Five stars for the pair that fits + one star for manufacturing consistency = 3 stars average.

Katahdin Heartbreak
I was thrilled when I saw these on the rack. A summer weight Riverton right here in my hands. I loved the weight of the material. They went right to the register and the great comparison began. And the heartbreak began đź’”
The inseam measurement is off. All five pair of my Riverton’s are a 29” inseam and fit perfectly. This inseam was a full inch too long. Three washes and dryer runs brought it down to a 3/4” overage. Still too much. This is on manufacturing.
The side leg zip pocket is up next. It is too low and too wide. If it was higher it could be deeper. People keep cell phones and wallets in these pockets, not iPads and carry ons.
The two front belt loops are way too far apart. There is a ridiculous amount of space between them leading to floppy belt syndrome.
I am keeping them for now but hope that Product Management looks into the manufacturing issue and does a design review before the next release. If not, the Katahdin won’t be crowding up my closet.

Perfect Fit and Construction.
I am 5'5, waist 32" and 145 lbs. Perfect fit and love the side pocket construction. I may order another pair soon.
