Why so much fiber shedding even after repeated was
While the fit and fabric colors of the 1912 Field Flannel Shirt and Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt I love, I am beyond frustrated as to the overwhelming fiber shedding even after four washings (according to care instructions). It is so bad that my eyes get gritty from the fibers and the shedding is noticeable around counter and floor of room that I put the shirts on in. I ordered one of each of these shirts over a year ago and did not have the same experience, so something has changed with the fabrics on the shirts I received in Dec. 2025.

Great color and soft
so i am not sure what to say about this shirt , but the colors are good , soft material but prone to pilling , the weave is pretty loose and it stretches a lot for a cotton twill I don’t think i would buy again for that price . I am dissatisfied with the quality and price.

The material looked tired, old after wash
I purchased two shirts; LL Bean is one of the few outdoor companies that carry Petite sizes. I cold washed and hung up to dry, both shirts. After each dried the material did not look 'fresh' or sharp, and actually puckered. Each shirt looked tired and worn. I was very disappointed with the quality and returned both for a refund. I wear a Petite Large.

Good coats come to those who wait
I love this coat; it’s been sitting in my local store for over a year and every time I came in I would try it on. It fit me perfectly, but I couldn’t afford it. Fortunately it didn’t fit anyone else (XXSP) and in a Christmas miracle the price came down to something I could afford. Thanks to the store for not sending it back to HQ!

Flannel is rough and colors are faded looking
I wanted a lavender flannel shirt but this is not up to your standards. Flannel is not soft and the colors are dingy. Will be returning.
