Stiff fleece - color comes across as stained areas
I purchased this in a size small petite of the seaboard blue. The fabric was unexpectedly stiff for a fleece and not soft at all. The variegated colors of the threads make it look like there are stained areas on the chest, which are not stains, but just look like they are. Not a very good look.

Nice fabric but sizing is way off
I love the quality of ll bean clothing but I find the sizing to be very inconsistent. This particular top was very large compared to other tops I have bought in size large. I was very disappointed in the overall fit.

Perfect fit, warm
I wore this on a recent trip to Alaska. This topper is fleece lined so it's very warm and comfortable. I wore this on the plane, when we went out on snow mobiles, on a dog sled, walking around Anchorage, to and from dinner in Fairbanks. It was as cold as 39 below zero during our visit. For nearly a week, this topper was a part of my layering process because it was so warm and comfy. This is machine washable and dries very quickly. It has pockets that are just big enough to hold your phone if needed.

Love it!
I love the sweater fleeces. The only complaints I have is that the picture of the lavender one, in the. catalog, is a brighter lavender than it actually is, and it runs large.
