Product Details

The Maine-made, weather-ready insulated Bean Boot customers love, now even more comfortable and durable.

  • For this style, we recommend you order a half size down from what you would normally wear. If half sizes are not available, order your regular shoe size.

In 1912, when 90 of his first 100 pairs of boots sold were returned, our founder, L.L., sent out refunds and fixed the problem. We've followed in his footsteps, listening to customers and making improvements while staying true to everything that makes Bean Boots legendary. Best of all, they're still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople. Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these.

  • Uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support.
  • Updated high-quality supple leather upper gets even better with time.
  • Innovative triple-needle stitching provides long-lasting durability.
  • Upgraded dual-density insole offers enhanced comfort and cushion all-day long.
  • Iconic chain-tread outsole is now made from an even longer-lasting rubber.
  • Lace-up design with six sets of brass eyelets per boot for a secure fit.
  • Waterproof rubber boot bottom keeps feet dry.
  • Rubber bottom lined with 200 grams of insulation for extra-cozy warmth.
  • Waterproof to just below the stitching on the rubber shell.
  • Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Old Boots ! Bought my LL Bean boots 20 years ago. Never wore them. NYC snow was mild. 2026, we just had16" of snow. These boots were great!! Exception: leather finger pull hook broke on the right boot. Weak leather. After going over the leather strap area gently with a flat metal file, I used Fiebing's Leathercraft cement plus a German clamp to repair the broken strap. Good as new!!! Love these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t fall for the sizing traps I live in the UK and these are difficult to buy. No UK stockists and the sizing advice is all over the place on their site and also on the reviews. A lot of guff about going 5 sizes down, these are huge etc etc. I’ll make it simple. Go a 1/2 size down for unlined. TTS for lined. Simple. I am a UK 11. All day every day. Some lasts for premium shoes I end up a 10.5, for all trainers I have are an 11. Again, for some EU brands that is a 45, others a 46, but the consistency is UK 11. I got these in a US 11, so techically 1 size down, as per the unlined recommendation. They fit. JUST. 10.5 would have fit a lot better AND given me the ability to wear thick or thin socks. Now I can just wear thin socks. If I ever dare to visit the US one day I’ll head into a stockist and get the 10.5 US. Or the 11 US lined. So, to recap. Go 1/2 size down. Max. Anything else and you likely always been wearing the wrong size shoes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor material I purchased these boots maybe ten years ago and only wore them about 6 times a year and this year the rubber split wide open. Total junk! Do not waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking boot and perfect for hunting! Gift for hubby. Still debating if he likes. He’s use to a different type of boot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing misfortune The sizing guidelines recommended going down 1/2-size: I normally wear an 11 and so ordered a 10.5--and it's huge. Will most definitely have to exchange but don't live near a store unfortunately :(.
