Beautiful Boots, but Insoles are Glued Down
Warning - the insoles are securely glued in place. If you wear orthotics and need to remove the stock insole, these boots likely will not work for you. I understand removing the insoles to try on with my own will void the warranty. Back they must go. Ugh!!! Otherwise, beautiful boots.

I bought these shoes a month ago, and I’m glad I did. I bought them because they reminded me of Eastland boots that I wore in the early to mid 90’s. They seem to be a lot better. The leather is so soft but durable and the fit is great. I’m pleased with this shoe purchase.

Here we go again!! But in the good way!
Bought these with a distant memory of owning a similar pair back in the 80s. These did not disappoint, they are very comfy and are breaking in very nicely indeed. I choose the brown because my wife told me that having worn the red color in the 80s I was forbidden to do it again (wise woman!!!) I’m tempted however to go sock free and enjoy suede interior this summer!

I ORDERED WIDE BUT STILL TOO TIGHT
Upon opening the box, I really liked the boot, it was definitely well made, and couldn't wait to put them on to see how they fit. I normally wear a 10.5 medium but due to reading reviews I ordered a wide. It was a disappointment to find them was too tight, even with thin socks.

Classic Chukka
I honestly think these classic chukka boots are overpriced especially since they are foreign sourced (El Salvador) and do not have Vibram lugged soles (hence the 4 stars) but I decided to get a pair only when the price dropped. The full-grain leather and leather inner sole and laces get 5 stars, but lack of padding on the tongue takes some getting used to. The soft rubber lugged sole, while comfortable for daily wear but will likely begin to wear within a year. So, great looks, nice comfort, but a few changes could make these a 5-star super classic.

Size runs small
Nice quality and finish however, the shoe runs small. I ordered a 13 triple E wide and could not get my foot into it. My feet are actually 12 1/2 and I’ve never had a 13 triple E not fit. The in step doesn’t open far enough to get a large foot with a high end step into this boot. Though the quality of the boot appeared to be very good and the finish was very nice.
