Happy but questions
So far so good. Comfortable. Seems stylish. I am curious about the insulation, has not been cold yet and how could such a thin layer do much. A little more cushion on the sole would help, especially considering the price paid for the price paid. You said waterproof up to the gusset. How high up on the shoe is that? How many people even know what a shoe gusset is? I asked AI and still was not sure. Over all I am happy so far.

They're good but a little hefty
These were purchased to replace another pair of insulated walking shoes I use when it's cold but not snowy or when I need warm shoes that are not my winter boots. These shoes definitely meet my requirements and I'm breaking them in. They are certainly built well, they are from LL Bean, but they're also a little hefty with the built-up sole. That's okay because it raises you up a little in the muck and has a good tread pattern.
