Excellent Heavyweight Base Layer
As an avid cold weather mountain biker and hiker I look for fitted apparel that will keep me warm and maintain my full range of motion yet be capable of wicking away perspiration when the going gets tough. This heavyweight base layer is perfect on frigid days under my bamboo hoodie and topped by an efficient wind breaking shell.
I’ve been an LLBean customer for several decades and can attest that their synthetic base layers (light, medium, heavy) are the best. I have some of all weights going back 25 years that have undergone hundreds of washings and are still good as new. These garments are worth every cent of the purchase price. There’s no way I’d venture out to the snow, ice and biting winds without wearing an LLBean base layer. I highly recommend them to the outdoor enthusiast as well as those who want to wear something comfortable, stylish and practical on the cold days at home or work. Yes, they are that good.
