Well made, attractive sweater
I really like this sweater a lot. It looks even better in person than online and the wool is very soft. I don't want to give it anything but a rating of 5, but it arrived with a strange smell that seemed musty, which has never happened before with L.L Bean clothing. I washed it in cold water with Woolite and the odor went away. Before washing it, the fit was perfect, but now it a little bit snug. It still fits, but I think it shrank a bit and it's comfortable only with a very lightweight turtleneck under it.

Love this wool sweater
I really love everything about this sweater. The wool is thick and cozy without being one bit itchy. It has a great drape and looks good with jeans, dress pants, jumpers, skirts, anything. It is roomy and works great over multiple under layers without looking sloppy. I bought it for a September trip to Alaska and wore it for 2 weeks without washing and it was great. This is a sweater that will last for years and look classic the whole time. Worth the price.

I love this sweater. I've only tried it on since it's been to hot to wear it out but winter is coming. Wasn't scratchy to me, sleeves long enough. I wish I had been quick enough to buy the other one in blue.
