Nice lightweight flannel
I usually order the LLB flannel shirts in regular large,!so as to wear over T neck. Petites the arms are too short. This one is definitely lightweight which will be comfortable under a sweater. And yes it is flannel: defined as lightly brushed cotton ( could be other fabric, these are cotton). Not as heavy as the other flannels here. I bought 2 in good faith I wouldn’t have to return them . I hope they don’t need ironing because of the weight. I got the black plaid ( nice & could be almost dressy) and the ‘orange’ plaid (also nice I’m glad it’s a muted orange! My reason for 4 & not 5 stars is that the black plaid ( which has a bit of brown in it) has brown buttons. I think it would look much better with black buttons! But kudos for Bean still including 2 extra spare buttons on the inside labels :).

Perfect light-weight flannel shirt!
I purchased the Whisper Weight Flannel button-down shirt a month ago and have been VERY satisfied overall. The color, Dark Black, is really pretty with the added combination of light blue, chestnut brown and white tones.
I chose a Regular - size Small - for a more fitted style, but can easily slip a lightweight t'shirt underneath for added warmth. It is cozy enough for the between seasons, which is what I was hoping for, but it is not a heavy weight flannel. As I do with anything 100% cotton, cold water washing, half-time in the dryer on low, then hanging up to dry works for me. The shirt is as nice as the day it arrived. Love it!

Comfortable fit.
I love this whisper, flannel shirt. I have every color except the light blue, and it is no longer available.
