A great back pack, large and light. I returned due to the huge showy Bean logo, not cool, reduce size and mute logo colors.
I have also returned the the new duffle bags and clothing , LLB, please tame your ego

Quality has gone downhill - not worth the price
The quality of these bags have gone significantly downhill. My teenage son has gone through two of these bags in two years. I bought the first bag in March 2024. He started carrying it then. He carries it from the house onto the school bus in the morning and the reverse in the afternoon. It sits in his locker all day. He uses it to carry primarily his notebooks, pencil case, lunchbox and water bottle. By June of 2025, the straps had frayed where they connect to the top of the bag. I took it back to the LL Bean store near me in July 2025, and after much discussion they grudgingly replaced it “out of warranty” (by just a couple of months) since I held to the fact that this must have been due to a defect in craftsmanship or materials. He started carrying the new bag in September 2025. By May 2026, he noticed that both straps were fraying in the same place (see pictures). Our family has been carrying LL Bean backpacks for over 30 years. Between the five of us, these must have been our 10th and 11th LL Bean backpacks. My husband has had his Comfort Carry backpack for at least 10 years without any issues. I had my Deluxe backpack for over 25 years till the lining started to flake off. In the past we've replaced LL Bean bags because the kids outgrew them. They survived school, camp, travel and sports practices. We have never had quality issues like these. After this experience, we will not be buying LL Bean backpacks again for the foreseeable future.

Handle frays quickly
After only 2 months of use, the top carry handle has begun to fray. I certainly expected better quality from LL Bean and at this price point.
