Pretty good coat
I really like this coat with one exception - you cannot wear anything bulky under it and the sleeves are tight. I am not a large woman - average I would say but I got the XL to make sure it was a loose fit. Other than that,I like it.

I have a shorter Bean coat that is excellent for winter days however wanted a longer coat that covers my hips. This coat is what I have been looking for for several years. Couldn’t be happier. I purchased a petite medium because sleeves are always way too long and this is perfect.

Great winter coat
I have been wearing this LLBean coat for almost 50 years (sold under other names, aka Baxter State.) I've had them in a variety of colors over the years (red, turquoise, black). They just never wear out. I finally get tired of wearing the same coat for 10+ years and then buy a new one in a new color. I like their warmth, longer length, hood, zipper pockets (even one inside). It's just the best winter coat ever for Michigan weather!
