Stretch in this fabric pushed item out 2 sizes!!
I purchased this item based on sizing information. When I got the item, it sat very lightly at my waist. Quickly, though it stretched out at least four inches at the waist. Note: I ordered another pair one size down and the same thing happened. Too bad, the pant is a nice cut.

Shorts are fine, but sizing is way off
According to their measurements, I take a 20W, but to be safe, I also ordered a 22W. Both were huge. The 20 could work with a belt, but after they stretch they would be super baggy. Plus, I ordered the red, the green and the beige. In the 20, the red was gigantic, the green was ok, the beige fit (still a bit loose, but I'm ok with that for a light/semi see through color). So, not even within a size is the sizing consistent. The material is soft. The legs are wide. The shorts overall are frumpy. But, if you can find a size that fits, they should be comfortable.

These shorts are great. They are the first pants from LL Bean in a long time that actually fit me. I like the fabrid ( just enough stretch), the color, the length... all good.

Best fitting shorts in my entire life!
I've never worn shorts so comfortable. All my other shorts are always trying to crawl up my privates, and I have to keep yanking on the legs. These are not only comfortable, but the fabric is thick! And so so soft. I'm thrilled with this purchase. They're a ridiculous price, and I don't even care. I bought a second pair as soon as I tried these on.
I think it's a silly idea to use blue fabric for pockets on a pair of stone colored pants, but they're so thick it only barely shows through.
