Surprisingly warm
I've never really been a vest guy and then my wife bought me one I have to say this really worked out well we've used it a couple of times already for some social gatherings and it does add a different option to my wardrobe.

Layer without bulk
Nice lightweight layer with good body and neck cover as wind barrier. Only wish zipper was bidirectional for when seated/driving.

Nice Vest
This is a great vest. I ordered the XL Tall and it fits my 6'4" 235/lb frame nicely. L.L. Bean is discontinuing the vest, which I wish they were not.
