This longtime customer favorite is now equipped with even more features like a hydration/laptop sleeve and a fleece-lined electronics/sunglasses pocket - and built with ultra-durable, recycled fabric in the body.
We've redesigned our best pack ever. It's been updated with new, durable recycled main body fabric, tough 600D Kodra bottom and a rugged 210D nylon lining. A new top lid pocket is perfect for electronics or sunglasses. Front pocket is equipped with two side-release closures instead of a zipper for easier access. And this has been accomplished while preserving its retro rucksack style.

Fabulous Travel Bag

A Long Time Coming…..
I’ve been putting off buying this rucksack for 40 years! Well my trusty backpack finally could be repaired no longer. Torn, frayed, and ripped, it had to be put to rest. So I finally bought the rucksack. It’s really a great bag! Everything I hoped for. Roomy, sturdy, and comfortable to carry. Made from durable materials, it’s already been on its first outing. Love LL Bean for close to 50 years! Half my gear is Bean. If you’re thinking about buying this rucksack, don’t worry, it’s really great.

Solid Construction (of course) / A Good Value
Bought this Rucksack / Backpack on sale for $119. It is only 33 liters but has all the features of a larger pack. Since it is canvas, it ought to last longer than any ripstop version and, as is usual with LL Bean, it has solid quality construction. LL Bean has come to mean Quality and this pack does not disappoint!
