Exceeded Expectations
I read the reviews before purchasing and I must say that I was somewhat skeptical. After wearing the boots daily I can honestly say that they have exceeded my expectations. First let me say this, they are not hiking boots or walking shoes, if thats your intended use make a different choice. If you need a boot for short excursions around the home or for errands around town in sloppy New England weather these will more than meet your needs. In spite of what some folks have said I find them easy to put on and actually quite comfortable. As for fit they pretty much run true to size, for example, I usually order a size 13 (my true size is 12 1/2) to ensure a decent fit. I ordered these in size 12 and they fit just about perfect.
Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Comfortable but challenging to get on
These boots are very comfortable. My husband’s only criticism is they are challenging to put on because there is no back tab to help pull them on with.

High Expectations, Disappointing Comfort
I bought these boots with high expectations based on the reviews and build quality. While they look well made, I experienced toe numbness twice during regular use. This suggests a fit or circulation issue that made them uncomfortable for me. Comfort is essential in a boot, so unfortunately I won’t be keeping them.

Loved these boots but they didn’t fit my foot.
Great boots. I returned them because they slipped in the heel and I could not keep them. I liked the quality, looks and they were exactly what I was looking for but they did not fit my foot.

design improvement needed to fit foot shape
Unusually wide heel pocket causes lots of heel slippage and irritation, consequently not very comfortable or practical for wearing more than a few minutes at a time.
