Not up to usual Bean standards
I tried these because I had expiring credits from my LLBean mastercard. Socks are mediocre. Hiking socks I've purchased from Thorlo are a clearly superior product.
They're ok as daily walking around socks with sneakers, but would not work for hiking. Too low for day hikers, and forget about boots.

Super wool socks quality
Pleasantly surprised by the thickness of these wool socks. Very warm, good fit on my large & wide feet. I’d like the option to be able to get 3 pair of the same color in the same package— mixing to match socks becomes easier. Seem very durable!

Katahdin the warm new everyday comfort sock.
This is my 10th pair of Katahdin hiker socks. I still have them all, no holes. I like the high merino wool % to keep my feet warm in Maine winters. I also like that they are thin enough to wear with sneakers, which I wear year round. I also find them very comfy to just wear around the house.

Love the colors!
I have lots of feet issues that come with my connective tissue disorder, so I need a thicker sock to wear. These are both comfortable and keep my feet warm. And bonus— I absolutely love the colors in these. I might get another pack!

Quantity of Pairs of Socks when ordered Deceiving
I received a gift card and chose to buy new wool socks and was positive this hiker sock quantity would be 6 pair from the photo. THere were no words to say 3 pair when I bought them online. The socks arrived last night and they fit great. Only 3 pair when I expect 6 pair from the photo, to me 'state 3 pair in words' in the description. I plan to keep what I have, but disappointed on quantity for the almost $60 cost. I hope they are well worth the price when working to remove snow and taking exercise walks in cold weather.

Worth buying again but…….
I really like the socks I just wish they were just a bit longer at the ankle. I also looked at the knee length you offered but I felt that was just a bit too long. I would like to have a length that is past the top of my snow boots.
