Great coat!
I bought this coat because I live in a not cold climate and was going to NYC for a weekend this month (January). I wanted something that was going to be warm enough while walking around outside but also light and easy to pack. This coat checked all of the boxes! The only thing I wish it had was a drawstring for the hood but otherwise it was great for my week in NYC!

Unfortunately, the heavy zipper was a struggle to operate due to the heft-less material of the coat. The attached hood felt small and cheap with the elasticized and is non removable. Expected much higher quality for the price point. Returned

puffer coat
Perfect coat for Virginia weather. Very light weight. I am 5'2" and about 135 pounds, ordered Medium and fits nice. Hits at middle of my thigh, hood is attached and good fit. The snap pockets are cute but would better to have a zipper. There are no inside pockets. It has become my 'go to' coat. Love it!

Mountain Classic Puffer Coat
I really like this coat - it is lightweight but warm and not too bulky. The length is perfect at about mid thigh ( I am 5'2" for reference). Also love the 2 way zipper and it is a nice metal zipper - not plastic

Great coat
Love this coat but have one complaint--NO ZIPPERED POCKETS! This would be the perfect coat (lightweight but keeps you so warm) but there are only two pockets and they are closed with fasteners. It would have been so easy to at least add inside pockets for security. I hate worrying that my phone is going to fall out of the pockets.

Perfect for petites
LL Bean consistently does petite sizing well, especially when it comes to sleeve length. This coat in petite XS fits me (5'2", >100 lbs) perfectly, is not bulky, and I find it warm enough for winter wear in the mid-Atlantic region. One of the reviewers rated the coat poorly because she said her XL phone did not fit in the pockets. I have not found this to be true. I have a Pixel 7 Pro with a case, and it fits in the pocket with room to spare. I wanted to mention this because I almost didn't purchase the coat, out of concern that my phone wouldn't fit.
