We wanted to love this kids’ sleeping bag, given its reasonable price point and LL Bean’s reputation for quality, but it fell short of our expectations. The zipper easily snags the adjacent fabric and gets stuck, which is frustrating for the child using the bag as well as adult recruited to free the zipper. The bag is also tough to get back into the stuff sack; a larger stuff sack could alleviate this issue. On the plus side the bag is cozy and suitable for indoor sleepovers or inside a camper. Overall, not a big fan and will continue shopping for something more user-friendly.

Toddler loves it
Purchased for my three year old to sleep in while camping. He loves it and slept in it for a week on his bedroom floor when it first arrived. Took it camping for the first time this weekend and it got down to 45 degrees at night. Paired with 4.5 r-value pad, he was toasty warm inside it and slept great. The bag is a nice thick material and feels high quality.

Perfect for little visitors :-)
Bought these for use with 2, 4 and 6 year old visitors. They loved feeling like they were at camp and the neutral solid yellow is perfect … no cheesy or busy patterns. Plenty of room for the girls and their fave stuffies. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price. Easily packed up in the drawstring bags for storage. Actually exceeded my expectations.

Better than anticipated
I had low expectations, this being the "budget" option, however, it is high quality. The material is very soft and much nicer than I had anticipated. It was bought for a 2 year old, and they seemed to like it very much. The sleeping bag opens wide and flat and was also used as a play blanket. It's definitely not as big and bulky as some of the other LL Bean sleeping bags and that's also a good thing. It's also synthetic material, so good in damp conditions. Would definitely recommend this for car camping.

This youth sleeping bag was a great purchase. I love the color. We have not tested it out in cold weather camping as it’s used more for sleepovers.
