My 25 year old gaiters are better
I got these because they were on sale and my 25 year old LL Bean gaiters are in my mending pile because I need to replace the elastic so they will stay up. These new gaiters will be great once I add elastic to the top so they will stay up. I will also probably replace the annoying plastic buckle with velcro.

These are good light weight gaiters.
These are good light weight gaiters. They are easy to put on and take off. I use them to secure the bottom of my pant or snow bib legs for winter recumbent trike riding. They keep cold air from blowing up my pant legs, and they also help keep my feet warmer.
