Disappointed, shrinks
I've been purchasing Double L cable sweaters for years and love how they wash and wear. I was excited to see this v-neck style, so I purchased Deep Lake and Classic Navy with the white tipping. Fresh out of the package, it was clear that the sizing is off. The length was shorter than the previous Double L knits (high hip) and it fit boxy and shapeless. The sleeves were slim but had an unusual amount of extra fabric around the armpits, and the arm length was so long that the hem extended to my fingertips. Are the sleeves meant to be turned back? If so, they add too much bulk, and it looks unflattering. There's so much material in the sleeves, I could never push them up my arm as shown in the models. I decided to keep one to wear around he house, but after I washed it, following the instructions, the sweater went from high hip to just below my belly button. I've never seen one of these shrink before. Overall, this is a bulky poor fit. I'll keep wearing my older, softer Double L sweaters that I purchased between 2012 and 2019.

Great product
As per usual, LLBean provides clothing that is both stylish and of good quality. This shirt is a nice weight-- not too light and not too heavy. Perfect for spring and fall days. Love the style added at the back of the neck.

I am between sizes and never know whether to go up or down. This one was true to LL Bean sizing and fits well. Love the color selection - ordered the plum and also the teal.
I live in Florida and will rarely have an opportunity to wear a long-sleeved top, but this satisfied my criteria (hard to do) = nice color, modest and stylish neckline, fabric requirements. Should be nice for dinners on cruises.

Excellent fit and comfy cotton
This will make 7 of these wonderful tops I own. I have severe neck pain and these slightly higher neck in the back helps with warmth without weight. The v-neck in front is just enough to leave my old lady “turkey neck” open yet camouflaged. The material is soft, keeps its shape and washes beautifully. However, since it is cotton I usually lay them flat to dr or dry on very low heat for a brief time to get the wrinkles out and then hang.
