The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in an easy pullover style. Available in the widest range of 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test," and only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Cozy and Cute
After wearing it for 10 minutes, I decided to get another! I now have 3. It’s comfortable and warm, the sleeve length is perfect, and the zipper (vs. buttons) lets me decide how far down I want the front open. On button shirts, it seems like buttons are further apart than they used to be. Sometimes opening just the top button results in a deep V-neck which isn’t fashionable or warm. The shirt looks great untucked and is loose enough to not hug my hips or belt. The shirt washed well. I'm 5’4” 106 and got the XS regular.
I wish LL Bean would make these in solid colors with a similar fit and fabric. Just don’t make the sleeves long with thumb holes and don’t add hand pockets. Offer winter colors, not pastels.

Perfect winter shirt
Comfortable, casual, flannel shirt with half zipper. Warm and soft to the skin and the indigo tartan goes perfectly with jeans both dark and light. Nice not lining up buttons.

This is an okay funnel, prefer the button down
This shirt fit true to size and washed up well. I took a star off because I wasn't a huge fan of the quarter zip. I found that I like the button version better since this has absolutely no give in the fabric.
