The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in an easy pullover style. Available in the widest range of 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test," and only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

I don’t look like a lumberjack!
Love this shirt! In fact, this was the third one I purchased. This shirt is not so heavy like traditional flannel. It lays well and isn’t bulky. Very soft and comfortable to wear. Can add turtleneck or shirt under if I need more warmth. I ordered one my original size and the other two I went up in case I wanted to layer.

Great style Always get compliments when I wear it!
Love this shirt- both fit & style! I get compliments every time I wear it. I like the deep quarter zip and the little detail like the leather pull tab on the zipper, and the pocket flaps. it’s a little longer than other similar styles, which I also like The only downside is that it shrunk in the wash so I had to stretch it back to size. I’m a petite, but they only had the regular left so I just cuffed the sleeves. I’d buy another plaid if they had any left!

Cozy and Cute
After wearing it for 10 minutes, I decided to get another! I now have 3. It’s comfortable and warm, the sleeve length is perfect, and the zipper (vs. buttons) lets me decide how far down I want the front open. On button shirts, it seems like buttons are further apart than they used to be. Sometimes opening just the top button results in a deep V-neck which isn’t fashionable or warm. The shirt looks great untucked and is loose enough to not hug my hips or belt. The shirt washed well. I'm 5’4” 106 and got the XS regular.
I wish LL Bean would make these in solid colors with a similar fit and fabric. Just don’t make the sleeves long with thumb holes and don’t add hand pockets. Offer winter colors, not pastels.
