fabric a bit rought
Bought a pair for myself and my husband, for a whale watching trip. He likes the fact the pants are quick dry, and they do fit him. I had got a pair for myself too, but the waist is too small even though a medium-tall is my normal LLBean size. Maybe I ate too many Xmas cookies but the snap won't stay snapped, and the belt has a fiddly buckle. Also I really don't enjoy the rough texture of the fabric on my body. So mine goes back.

great versatile hiking pants
good length for my 5'2" frame. loved having lots of pockets, fit my phone comfortably. tested converting to shorts and back and zips worked well, will be great in the summer. fabric is not the lightest, but think will be good for year round wear.

Tight at the thigh zipper
At 5'2" tall, the petite is a little short on me. The thigh and leg is great, not too loose, not too tight, but the zipper area is tight, sometimes uncomfortable when bending down.
