I think these little sleds are a lot safer that flying saucers for little ones, because they can steer with their feet over the edges. Then it is easier to carry back up the sledding hill.

My Favorite Glissading Sled!!!
Love this sled! Easy to strap to my backpack on my hikes up to the peak. Steering is a lot easier on this as well glissading down the mountain.
