Protect the New Floor
The mat will save the new Floor when the tree falls over. Water can warp a floor. This is a new floor and it needs to be protected. The tree did fall over this past year and water was everywhere. Luckily it did not harm the new floor. But with this new Holiday mat this will not be an issue.

Upgraded our Christmas
For the past 43 years we simply placed plywood under our Christmas tree. This year we upgraded to the Waterhog, and we’re glad that we did! We’re not trying to hide a board under our tree skirt, and the mat is more than sufficient to keep the tree stable.

I have a red version from 10 years ago and it looks like new! Used it every year under our real tree. Now we have a fake tree I have repurposed it to a front door mat! Everyone complements on how beautiful it is! HIGHLY recommend!
