We have a family of 4 sons and visit the mountains often... sleds rarely last more than 1 season. LLBean nailed it with this one. The plastic is roughly double the thickness of anything on the market and snowdynamics of the front are perfect for cutting a trail or beating a friend in a race. We've hit 30mph on these things scraping over rocks and massive jumps - no issues. I noticed a comment on steering: all sleds of this style require leaning or slight touches of hands on ground to steer.

A great product, grandchildren loved it. I was a little nervous when our son-in-law got into the sled with our 8 year old, but it was totally fine, Light weight, fast, really great.

very sturdy perfect for the grandkids and parents
This sled was perfect for the 5 and 2 yr olds to either be on together or with a parent. Sturdy, stands up to imperfect driveway snow. Great purchase. Wish you has the smaller ones still also. Great quality.
