Protection for cold-sensitive fingers
My toes and fingers are very sensitive to cold. I needed insulated gloves for work and recreation outdoors in winter weather. These unisex gloves in size small are a perfect fit for my hands, which need a medium in women's sizing.

Too big for a woman
It would be great if LLBean took into consideration that women work outside in the winter, too. These gloves were too big for me, although I bought the smallest size available. I'm looking forward to LLBean gloves for women that fit women!

Smart Gift from Brother
My brother gave me a heavy duty log carrier AND these gloves for Christmas, as I live in the cold snowy mountains of Northern California, and I cart in all sorts of wood for my fireplace. He gave me a medium pair, they seem to fit pretty well as a work glove. They are constructed with fleecy interiors and primaloft insulation, so they are comfortable and should be warm enough. I have an extensive wardrobe of varying gloves, and no matter what, eventually my hands do get cold, but I am giving these five stars for fit, comfort and durability. Only time will tell if the cold will get to me if I am shoveling snow. Thanks to my brother for his choice.

Very disappointed in LLBean
Thought I was buying a quality Product but got stuck with a Wells Lamont glove I Could have got at any farm store for 1/3 the price. Be careful when they're skimpy with the fabric and insulation information they're hiding something,
