Needs improvement but overall decent product
I bought these mittens knowing LLbean offers quality winter apparel, however I was quite disappointed in these mittens. The level of warmth these mittens provide is subpar as I have cold fingers on an average winter day of 32 degrees F with light activity (shoveling snow). I would have expected a better quality with the price. The water resistance is top notch, and with heavy activity, your hands will get warm and stay warm, but once it ends, its retention is limited. I would suggest more insulation in the fingers section of the mittens for more warm or categorized this product as Warm, not Warmest

Perfect Ski Gloves for Frigid Days

i use these for biking in extreme cold . warm ( and fingers are not separated) and easy on and off .
which is why i need them oversized ( x large)
the exterior is strong enough not to wear on bike handles, gears & brakes.

Warm hands
Warm hands finally. These are great for keeping hands warm. Roomy enough to use a pair of wool knit gloves underneath. A little stiff but flex with use. Wrist strap removable when not needed.

warm gore tex mittens with leash
I bought these mittens for my husband for Christmas. He loves them. They are nice and warm for the extreme cold weather and the wrist leash is great (no more lost mitten). He worked outside in winter and now is hands are always cold. He takes one mitten off when picking up after our dog or filling bird feeds and has lost a few single mittens. These mittens are perfect for him
