Excellent base layer
Works very well as a base layer for winter and shoulder season weeks just before and after winter. Does a good job wicking moisture to outer layers.

Great base layer, lackluster durability
This is my second cresta 150 shirt. Merino wool works great for me as my base layer for colder weather activities. I can't go 5 stars on this, because the durability of the cresta 150 gram line is poor considering the price-point of these garments. I used my first 150 shirt for one full ski-season, and by the beginning of the current season the thumb holes had been ripped to shreds such that each of the sleeves were held together by a thread in the wrist. I had a similar issue with the 150 gram leggings.

Nice but not quite
Nice weight, initial fit, and warmth. However, even after following cleaning instructions, it shrunk. Material is too delicate for hard use and repetitive cleanings.

Great Layer
Love this layer. It is light yet warm. Helps keep my hands warm with the thumb holes.
