New favorite merino top
I love merino wool for the fall/winter for casual wear and outdoor activities. This one is my favorite weight, soft, and a great color. I got 3, one for me and two as gifts. I don’t need the thumb holes, so I would prefer a top without them. Same fabric needed in more colors and styles.

it lasts forever
I've had a pair of these for at least ten years. Comfy and warm, I wear these all winter and for a lot of fall and spring. I hang them to dry to help them last longer because they are so pricey. Need a third one so I have one for laundry day.
My issue with them is the super-long sleeves. I long ago cut them off for a three-quarter sleeve length, Not a big problem but sad that I am paying for the thumbhole which is of no use to me.

scratchy
Wearing it just an hour and my skin felt scratch. I wish it wasnt so as I liked the fit, color and style. I usually wear a LLBean small but needed x-small for a good fit.

Nice base layer
Purchased this top as a base layer for hiking. Have worn once under a light weight fleece zip front jacket for a hike on a 45-50 degree day. Stayed comfortable throughout the day and really like the light weight wool. I noticed the thumb hole on the left side isn't sewed correctly and isn't in the correct place for comfortable placement of my thumb, the right side thumb is a perfect fit. The overall and sleeve length were long for me, but that's the norm and probably not an issue for most people. I kept the top in spite of the left thumb hole issue as altering sleeve length is the norm for me. At that point the left thumb hole becomes a non issue.

Pricey but so worth it!!!
This shirt is super comfortable and just the right weight for me. I hate to be hot but like a long sleeve in the winter. This is perfect. A bit pricey for me but after buying this one I splurged and bought 3 more. These will be my go-to’s this season.

Warm layer
Very soft and warm. I could do without the contrasting piping and the plastic logo, but otherwise an excellent layer.

Thin But Very Warm
This is the nicest thermal base layer I've ever owned. It's very warm (keeps me comfortable on cold, windy days) but is thin and flexible, so it feels like I'm wearing a long-sleeved shirt. This makes it great for winter sports/activities.
