I am not impressed with this vest. It is way too long. I should have paid attention to the description which shows "falls at low hip."
I wish zippers were on the pockets and it had a zip "garage" at the neck. Also, I don't like the slits at the bottom hem -- makes it look a bit dowdy.
I think with a better cut and pattern, it could have made a doable vest for me. I was glad there is no horizontal seam in the middle of the vest -- this really cuts the body in half.
Perhaps, on a full-figured person who wants coverage and has no need for zip pockets, this vest could be suitable. I noticed the pockets are big; but I think the opening should be placed higher so that things won't fall out.
The fabric is thin, which is good for a summer vest, and it did zip up easily.

lightweight and warm
this vest is lightweight, very easy to pack for travel and gives a nice layer of warmth, presently in Paamiut in Greenland at about 43 degrees, the vest over a lightweight shirt and sweater on top is perfect
