Best and warmest coat I've ever purchased
I was looking for the perfect coat to use for the bitter cold weather we have been experiencing, and this coat fit the bill! It's pretty perfect in every way, the only thing I wish it had were snaps along the front, for those times I need to rush out the door to grab something or follow our dogs, but other than that, this was a great purchase. I'll have this coat for years!!

Disappointed in quality of this coat for the cost!
I initially wrote a review with 5 stars stating how amazing this coat is. Its the warmest coat I have owned, but I'm glad the review did not go through because after 3 months of having this coat 2 tears formed on the sleeve when I got in my car this morning. I didn't realize until I got to work that there was feathers and stuffing all over my arm rest. When I couldn't figure out why there was white fluffies all inside my car I lifted my arm to see two slashes that formed on the sleeve. What the heck!! After 3 months this coat is falling apart? What kind of lightweight material is used on these? I'm super disappointed in the quality of this coat for the price. This is the 2nd winter coat I have bought from LL Bean with a defect. The first coat the zipper broke after a few months, now this one easily tears if it hits something. I would think for the cost of the coat despite its toasty warm interior that the exterior would be made with high quality. So upset!!! This was my winter coat for this season!!! Ugh!

So warm and cozy!
Purchased this coat just in time for a cold snap, and it has kept me warm and cozy in single digit temps. I love the soft fleece lining of the hood and upper body, the gusseted side zippers at the hem, and the sleeve cuffs that keep out drafts. I ordered my usual size and there is room for a warm sweater underneath but not anything very bulky, so buyers might want to consider sizing up.

Winter’s revenge
This is the best winter coat I have owned. I loved it so much I purchased it in two colors. It’s a perfect length and warmth for the New England winter weather. It has side zippers if you need the width in a vehicle and the sherpa lining is soft, thin lined and attractive for detailing. I like extra room for sweaters so I purchased a large to allow that.

LOVE THIS COAT!
It just arrived and it fits perfectly, which is a big deal, since I live in Sweden and returning it would be a pain. I am just about 5'4" and a bit chubby at the moment, but not obese. I bought a petite medium and was afraid it might be too snug in the hips, but it is PERFECT! Clothes made for a Scandinavian market are often too long for me, especially the arms, so I have bought a returned three coats from a famous Swedish performance brand before I ordered this. The duties and taxes were included in the price, so there was no delay and no hassle. It actually arrived quicker than the coats from the Swedish shop and ended up costing me 300 SEK less overall. Brilliant! I am delighted. A detail: I love the heavy-duty metal zippers. I try never to buy coats with nylon zippers, which always seem to break.

Super Warm and Cozy
This is the warmest coat I've ever had without a lot of heaviness and bulk! The temps have been -10 here this week, and I have been super warm and toasty while walking my dog or shoveling the driveway! Highly recommend !

Loving my new Deep Freeze-proof Coat!
The coat arrived just in time for the deep freeze weather we’re having, and I threw it on over a cotton t-shirt and some sweatpants to quickly test it out as I took my daughter to a play date. Even in subzero weather and with only a thin t-shirt on underneath, I felt very warm and protected from the elements. I can only imagine how well it will hold up with my base layer and sweater on underneath. The hood was also very warm and lovely. Even with all of my long hair up in a clip on top of my head, the hood covered everything and kept my whole head warm. I would definitely recommend this coat if you’re looking for something to properly protect you from arctic conditions. The size chart was accurate for me, as well (5’8”, 150lbs, women’s regular small had plenty of room and hit just below my knees). If you’re on the fence, I’d say to get it!
