Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Warm Shirt
The size is too small for me at this time. I'll have to lose weight. Looking forward to wearing it then and know I'll love it as L. L. Bean products are superior. It would be nice to have had it fit now though. Bigger sizes should be available.

Great shirt, but too long
I absolutely love the material and style, but it’s way too long. I’m usually a medium (5’9” and 150lb), and I bought the “slightly fitted” style since this runs large. The width was great, but the shirt was way too long. I returned it for a small (regular fit), and I love it.

Chamois Plaid Men’s Shirt
Purchased this shirt as a Christmas gift for my son who is 6’2” and slim. He loved the shirt-great quality and in the autumnal colors he wanted.
Thought the tall would work better for him as many shirts appear short on him, but this particular shirt was very long on him-to his mid thighs. Thankfully, I was able to purchase the shirt in the regular slightly fitted M size. When it arrived (quickly), I measured it to another LL Bean tall sized flannel I had purchased, and the regular fit on the chamois was the same length as that shirt in the tall fit.
So bottom line, a great quality shirt, but the tall version of this shirt runs very long, I think. May work great for extremely tall men. 6’4”+.
I gave it 5 stars for the quality, and in the proper length,
good fit. The slightly fitted works well for his slim frame.

A Classic -Sift, Comfortable & Warm
I’ve been buying these chamois shirts for years. They are classic. They’ve kept me warm and comfortable in many cold and nasty bouts of New England weather. For what you get, they still are attractively priced. Go LL!
